One of the dreams in electric cars is tying a clean electric car with cleanly produced electricity such as from a solar panel. Some people take the idea and plant solar panels on the roof of their house but others add them to the vehicle attempting to directly drive the vehicle using solar panels. A solar powered vehicle could only drive during the daytime, so would require a battery pack to store energy for night-time driving, but that didn't stop a Subaru dealership, Planet Subaru in Hanover MA, from building a prototype solar electric SUV using a Subaru Tribeca the dealership had converted to electric drive. The dealership had previously put solar panels on the roof of the dealership building, becoming the only Subaru show-room in the world to be fully solar powered. In dealings with various solar panel manufacturers the dealership found a brand of panels that, through various techniques, supposedly had "the solar collecting power of approximately five hundred conventional solar panels."

This can be done hand held, using a tripod or using a tripod and an offset head or slider rail. In a shot like this, with many elements at different distances, parallax error was unavoidable without the use of a tripod and offset head that had been properly calibrated for the lens in question. In this case, the camera was hand held so my location moved quite a bit from shot to shot. Properly finding a lens’ nodal point is the best way to ensure that stitched panoramas can be easily assembled with no visual defects. After the images are captured, software such as Hugin is used assembled and blend them into a single panorama. This final stage is where problems begin to show up. This misalignment results from parallax error, which is caused by the viewer shifting locations. The process of create a stitch panorama is simple....

From Walmart, I paid a lot money for a television that was just not lasting, this was two t. v. 's in four months. A month later, a repairperson came to my house but he had the part to fix the picture and not the scratches. He had no knowledge of the scratches but he would place the order to get it fixed. I bought this T. V. in december of 2003 for a family christmas present and it lasted 2 weeks before I lost the picture. April rolled around and I lost the picture again on the new tv. I was a little discouraged considering this was not some 100. I called the store and they replaced the t. v. which I thought was very nice but the screen had numerous scratches right out of the box. I called Phillip's, thankfully I still had a warranty, but I found out they had closed there repair centers. The manager saw them and said he would fax the order to get it fixed....

Toshiba will launch high-speed SD memory cards this year in Japan and abroad that can read data at up to 95MB per second and write at 90MB per second.

The Japanese company will launch the cards under a new brand, "Exceria," which will initially be sold in three different configurations. The fastest type will go on sale in Japan from July, at a cost of ¥15,000 (US$180) for 32GB of storage. Models with slower write speeds will go on sale from April.

New chip technologies have enabled manufacturers to pack more memory on to storage cards, and digital cameras as well as smartphones are increasingly equipped with hardware to take high-definition video and pictures. As the processors on such devices get faster, the bottleneck for users is becoming the time it takes to save, view and edit the massive data files created.

This seemed like an easy way to mount the camera on anything in order to get closeup pictures of my wife and I while on vacation. I'm just glad I opened it up before going on the trip. The legs are very awkward to move and unstable. The connection where the camera mounts to the tripod is unstable. I wouldn't trust this tripod if I had a disposable camera, much less a brand new point and shoot. I wanted it so I could mount the tripod on objects - this is only functional when left on the ground...at...
